A complex engineering project to create and implement a three‑module reactor with programmable control in collaboration with international and Chinese teams.

Custom reactor system for an international research center

For an international research center, a custom three‑module reactor system was designed and manufactured together with Chinese and international engineers, featuring programmable control of feed, product withdrawal, and reaction time. The system was engineered to meet the customer’s specific process requirements and integrated into the existing research infrastructure alongside an extrusion line, enabling continuous processing and flexible adjustment of operating modes.

The design work was carried out by a distributed engineering team: all drawings and diagrams underwent multiple review and approval cycles between international experts and Chinese engineers, taking into account both international standards and the manufacturing constraints of the local producer. Regular online meetings were held to coordinate the work, during which technical solutions were discussed and adjustments were made to module layout, piping system, safety elements, and the logic of the programmable control. This approach helped refine engineering decisions, mitigate risks, and ensure proper integration of the reactor system into the customer’s process flow.

Development of a custom three‑module system

A three‑module reactor system with programmable control of feed, product withdrawal, and reaction time was designed and manufactured to fully meet the customer’s technical requirements.

Integration with existing infrastructure

The reactor system was integrated into the research center’s existing infrastructure, including operation in conjunction with the extrusion line and consideration of current technological and spatial constraints.

Effective coordination between Chinese and international engineers was achieved through multi‑stage review of drawings and technical solutions, regular online meetings, and timely updates to the design and control logic.

Optimization of continuous processing

Operating modes of the reactor system were configured to ensure stable continuous processing and flexible adjustment of parameters for different research and process scenarios.
