Training of personnel and application-focused method setup on the Beckman Coulter CytoFLEX system as part of the integration project.

CytoFLEX Flow Cytometer: Setup and User Training

As part of the project, the CytoFLEX flow cytometry system was delivered and implemented at the research site. The scope of work included instrument installation, initial setup of optical and fluidic systems, and preparation of the instrument in accordance with laboratory requirements.

In collaboration with technical specialists, step-by-step configuration of operating parameters was carried out, including calibration, quality control (QC), and signal stability verification. Particular attention was given to measurement protocol setup and proper handling of multiparametric data.

Training sessions focused on hands-on practice in sample preparation, experiment setup, and data analysis, enabling the establishment of consistent and reproducible workflows.

Key results and achievements of the project

Full integration of the platform into the laboratory

The CytoFLEX flow cytometry platform was fully integrated into the existing laboratory infrastructure, including installation, commissioning, and adaptation of the system to the site’s operational procedures.

End‑user training

A series of hands‑on training sessions was delivered for laboratory staff, building solid skills in sample preparation, experiment setup, and basic data analysis on the CytoFLEX system.

Knowledge exchange with Beckman Coulter engineers

Close collaboration with Beckman Coulter engineers enabled the transfer of best practices in system operation and service, strengthening the competencies of the local team.

Optimization of operating parameters for customer needs

Operating modes, panels, and measurement parameters were optimized according to the customer’s sample types and research objectives, increasing the relevance and value of the generated data.
