NGC Discover Shanghai: International Technology Collaboration and Knowledge Exchange
As part of an international knowledge exchange, we partnered with Bio-Rad engineers to deliver and commission a high-end NGC Discover protein purification system in Shanghai.
Together, we completed installation and advanced configuration, and conducted joint training sessions to share expertise and best practices, ensuring a successful system launch and sustainable local competence for further technological development.

Successful Installation
The NGC Discover system has been supplied, installed and commissioned in full. All system modules have been installed, configured and tested, ensuring reliable operation and stable performance from the first day of operation.
Adapting Global Standards Locally
During the project, international methodologies and NGC Discover operating standards were successfully tailored to the specifics of the local research environment, maximizing system performance in alignment with the client's unique objectives.
Optimization of Consumables Usage
Approaches for more efficient utilization of columns, buffers, and other consumables were developed, enabling a reduction in operating costs without compromising purification quality.
Expansion of Applied Methodologies
Additional chromatography modes and purification strategies were implemented during the project, expanding the system’s capabilities and enabling it to address a broader range of tasks.
